aNewDomain.net –YouTube is ideal for getting stories around quickly — stories that you wouldn’t otherwise see or hear in full unless you were watching live. Case in point: the funny White House Correspondents Dinner 2013 video from the event in Washington last night, where U.S. President Barack Obama, Steven Spielberg and others leaned heavily on comedy in what is always a light-hearted event.
My favorite part: Spielberg announced he is doing a movie starring Daniel Day-Lewis about Obama, ala the movie, Lincoln. But in the clip, it is Obama playing Lewis playing Obama. Check it out below.

No matter what you think of politics, no one will argue that Obama delivered an extra-comical address at the dinner. He opened with “I’m not the strapping young Muslim socialist I used to be.” He told reporters that Republicans trying to reach out to American minority citizens ought to start with him. “Hello?” he said.
He also said: “I am also hard at work on plans for the Obama Library but … I’d rather keep it in the United States.”
Obama came on stage to the tune All I Do is Win by DJ Khaled — “How do you like my new entrance music?” he said with a laugh. “Second term, baby!” He joked that the music was exactly the kind of thing (such conservative critics as Rush Limbaugh) “warned you about.” The White House Correspondents Dinner 2013 video is pretty hilarious. No wonder it went viral almost immediately.
Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and YouTube went nuts with the all-comedy Whitehouse Correspondents 2013 dinner. These events are pretty much always lighthearted, but this one was a stand out.
Obama lauded an exciting new news source — “It’s whitehouse.gov — I can’t get enough of it.”
Check out Obama’s one-liners and pokes at Fox News and other sly remarks here. No matter where you stand politically, it’s pretty funny.
For the money presidential candidate Sheldon Adelson spent trying to unseat him in the last election, Obama said that the $100M was ill-spent. For that money, he could’ve bought an island and named it, “Nobama.” Or offered it to him. “I might not have taken it, but Michelle would have.”
