aNewDomain.net — There was a time, not that long ago, when people knew how to spell. Me? I was always first in spelling bees. First one out, that is. I can’t spell two words in a row without looking one up. But everybody else seems to know how to spell. Now, thanks to silicon magic or spellcheck, even people like me can write and get almost every word right. The machines do the spelling for us so we don’t have to think too much at all.
Now that I don’t have to think about spelling anymore, I can spend my time thinking of better things, like … I wonder when The Three Stooges are on next?
For aNewDomain.net, I’m Tom Sloan.
Tom Sloan has done cartoons and illustrations for numerous publications including the original BYTE Magazine. Not limited to print, his cartoons and collages have been in various museums and galleries throughout the United States. He did animations for clients that include Sesame Street, HBO, Nickelodeon, Captain Kangaroo, Romper Room, Burger King, and McDonalds.
I have no comment about the use of spellcheck. I plea the fifth. :)
