Written by Gina Smith

At CES 2014 we scored a first look at Tivitas Technologies’ new haptic game controller tech, now in alpha. It’ll be called Sinister, for Windows and Linux. Here’s our video preview.

aNewDomain.net — Here at CES 2014, at the ShowStoppers press event in Las Vegas, I nabbed the CTO from Canadian gaming firm Tivitas Interactive. I was lucky. I scored a first look at its haptic game controller tech, now in alpha. It’s called Sinister.

Sinister uses ViviTouch’s  haptic feedback tech. Unlike other haptic devices on the market now, execs said, Sinister gives you mouse controls, several adjustable gaming modes and full support for Windows and Linux when the controller comes out late 2014. Watch for more aNewDomain and aNewDomainTV news pieces from our team on the ground at CES 2014 all week long. Check out our early look at Sinister, below.
