The Focal Point: Ant Pruitt Video Daily

aNewDomain.TV — It’s easy to pick up your trusty smartphone cam — or a regular one — and just grab a bunch of quick pictures. Is that art? Maybe. But the true art of photography is usually measured by the presentation and framing of a single shot.

And a key feature in that presentation is the focal point. Where is your photograph centered? What does it highlight? Does it effectively grab attention? In today’s video, I’m doing a deep dive in the use of the focal point and how it relates to great smartphone photography.
