RIP B.B. King: Why We Sing The Blues [Best Of Videos]

B.B. King
Written by Gina Smith

What a day to sing the blues. B.B. King is gone for good. Because B.B. always said “life is for the living” and hated dwelling on death, we won’t either. We’re just going to collect your favorite B.B. YouTube tracks here. Send me your favorite links with your name and a message. Or paste the link into the comments below. And just sit back and enjoy the music for a change. RIP B.B.

aNewDomain — Bluesmaster B.B. King has died. What a day to sing the blues. To honor him, I won’t write a lot about the details of his death. You’ll find that elsewhere. Life is for the living, B.B. always said, and he never dealt in the details of death much when asked for comment about the deaths of his fellow musicians and friends over the years.

Also, B.B. King wasn’t a very wordy person. So I won’t be either.

Below, find a (growing) collection of favorite B.B. King recordings, some really rare. I’ll start with mine and add yours as you send them to me. Just send me a link to your favorite B.B. King video on YouTube and I’ll add it, along with your message and name, right here.

That’s the kind of musical monument even B.B. could get behind.
