Ant Pruitt: Zoom H1 Handy Recorder Review (hands on)

Our Ant Pruitt does a hands-on review of the Zoom H1 Handy Recorder. Here’s how this audio recorder performed under serious pressure. Hands-on review.

aNewDomain.net — Before attending CES 2014, Mat Lee and I knew we would need equipment perfect for capturing impromptu interviews and video. I needed to focus on capturing clear audio as I attended meetings and would need reliable notes. Also, if I wanted to interview a vendor on the spot, BOOM. I had a mic ready to record the interview. We looked around for products to fit our needs, and one of the things we came up with is the Zoom H1 Handy Recorder. Here’s my hands-on review.

I truly enjoyed using the H1. It has a nice, easy-to-use size and performs really well. It performed well even under the notoriously-noisy arena that was CES 2o14.

Check out my video review below for more details on the H1 Handy Recorder. Also, be sure to check out the tools used by our Mat Lee while at CES — one of them is another ZOOM gadget.
