aNewDomain.net — Strange bedfellows made by an even stranger government. That being the US, of course. It’s the ACLU plus the NRA vs NSA. My original cartoon below.
The National Rifle Association has filed an amicus brief supporting an American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) lawsuit challenging the Obama Administration’s phone-tracking program. So it’s the ACLU plus the NRA vs NSA. Crazy.
The NRA brief argues that the National Security Agency’s phone records collection program could:
allow identification of NRA members, supporters, potential members, and other persons with whom the NRA communicates, potentially chilling their willingness to communicate with the NRA.”
