aNewDomain — Berlin Science Week 2016 kicks off in Germany next week. We’ll be following the show for you as it runs from Nov. 1 through Nov. 10. It’s an awesome event featuring 32 international science events over 10 days, including the STATE Festival (Nov 3-5) and the Falling Walls conference. Nov. 1, 2016 Queen’s Speech: Richard III
Definitely register so you can attend the Queen’s speech this year. Turi King from the University of Leicester will be talking about the university’s Grey Friar project, from its early planning stage to its successful discovery and identification of King Richard III, the last English king to die in battle.
King led the international research team that discovered and affirmed the skeleton, discovered under a Leicester car park, was in fact Richard III. The lecture will take place at the Technical University of Berlin …
International Cooperation in Immunotherapy for CancerThe Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology, together with the Embassy of Spain in Germany, will be presenting an intriguing project around Barcelona‘s Hospital Clinic CART leukemia therapy. This one requires registration, too.
Nov. 5, 2016Connecting Empathy and NeuroscienceThis event, which is part of this year’s State Festival’s focus on the “state of emotion,” features social and cognition researchers Isabel Dziobek, Laura Kaltwasser and Sebastian Korb doing a deep dive empathy and neurobiology and empathy. As more and more studies come out suggesting the range of empathy among individuals, questions regarding autism, brain training and the use of medication to increase trust and empathy are more relevant than ever.
Nov. 5, 2016 AI Learning to Think
Also at the State Festival on Nov. 5, neuromorphics researcher Max Versace will be talking about his work in the design and development of neurmorphic software, which lets smart machines learn more autonymously. He’ll be joined by AI researcher Toby Walsh, who will discuss how game theory and social choice can interact with artificially intelligent systems.

This is a closed-door forum featuring various representatives from business, science and politics, with the goal of delivering practical policy concepts for governments and institutions around the world.
Born in Kano in 1974 and grew up in the centre of commerce, Kano city, Kano State.
I started working at the age of 18, while in the evening I enrolled to study Ticketing and Reservation course in 1993. Thereafter during my industrial attachment, at the age of 19, I learned how to type typewriter in 1993 and year later I also learned how to operate computer before attending any computer school or secretarial school.
Thereafter I was admitted to studies secretarial studies part-time program. I became a Member, Nigerian Institute of Professional Secretaries in 2003. Associate Member Society for Monitoring & Evaluation of Nigeria in 2011.
Starting working as freelancer in Triumph Publishing Company in 1995. I joint Media Trust Nigeria Limited, Publishers of Daily Trust, Weekly Trust, Sunday Trust, Kilimanjaro and Aminiya Newspapers) since 1st April, 2003 as Computer operator/Page designer, to-date where now I became the Ag. Head of Editorial Production (Operations)/Deputy Manager (Editorial Production).
Won awards from numerous International conference, including.
In 2015 I received my masters degree in Production management from National Institute of Business Management, Chennai, India with 1st class.
Won award as International Youth Advocator of the Year, from West African Students Union, in East Africa, 2016
Won a travel grant to Travel to be among the 15 from around the world to travel to Germany for World Mathematician & computer Scientists Forum coming in September 2016 in Heidelberg Laureate Forum Foundation, Germany.
Won a travel grant to travel to be among the journalist for The Youth Global Forum In Jakarta, Indonesia, November 24 - 26, 2016, the forum will gather together more than 150 participants from all over the world with the aim of brainstorming solutions for the most prevalent youth issues.
Won an integrity award for the Media Trust Nigeria Limited, (Publishers of Daily Trust, Weekly Trust, Sunday Trust, Kilimanjaro and Aminiya Newspapers) in 16 Mar 2012
