aNewDomain.net — Our Chris Miller previews the Audio-Technica SonicFuel ATH-CKX7iS headset in advance of CES 2014. Check it out below. Chris will be on our CES coverage team in Las Vegas this week. Check us out at the show and at ShowStoppers.

We got an early look at the Audio-Technica SonicFuel ATH-CKX7iS headset in advance of CES. The sound was excellent. And on all test calls the noise cancellation of background sounds was great. The SonicFuel ATH headsets were even able to cancel out background car noise, most normal-volume music and downtown sidewalk sounds. The only nagging issue we experienced with the Audio-Technica SonicFuel ATH-CKX7iS headset had to do with microphone placement. The mic is on the back of the volume control. Because it hangs away from your mouth, you lose volume. That plus noise cancellation will even break up conversations. My preview is below.
