SILENT debuted February 15 at the Oscars Scientific and Technical Academy Awards — and it debuted on YouTube this week, too.
Watch SILENT in full below. It’s a story of “how storytellers, inventors, and technology work together to create cinema magic,” Dolby reps say. The plot centers around a pair of street performers who, after finding a magical device in an old theater, create their dream show. The pair includes “Morris Lessmore” of The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore fame. “The Kid” is supposed to represent sound — and its role in cinematic excellence.
