aNewDomain — In November I had the incredible privilege of being one of the photographers at TEDxSFU, an independently organized TED event. Held at Granville Island Stage, the event featured 12 speakers whose topics ranged from mental health to education to wearable technology. Here are a few of my shots below:
For this event, my 55-250mm lens was my best friend. With it, I was able to capture some personal detail even from a great distance (the back of the theatre). As the theatre was very dark and dramatically lit with a spotlight, I was challenged to play around with the f-stop and ISO. This was my first time doing event photography, and was a fantastic learning experience.
