Audible for Android is a powerful way to listen to your books on the go. It’s Gina Smith’s choice for App of the Day. Review.

aNewDomain — When you want to read a book but your hands and eyes are too busy for the real thing, you should definitely check out Audible for Android. The latest version of the app is free on Google Play and gives you instant access to 180,000 titles, includes the Audible Newsfeed to learn about upcoming author events in your area and lets you download and listen at the same time. Audible is also available for Apple iOS.

audible for android Audible for Android supports Whispersync for Voice, a feature of Amazon Kindle devices allowing you to switch back and forth between the audio version and Kindle version of the book without losing your place.

The latest version of the app is more stable and has fewer bugs than previous versions. You can now archive books that you finish using the new library filter. The app also allows for automatic delivery of digital magazines you subscribe to. If you’re listening on the go, the app will show details of your audio books when you play them on Bluetooth devices, like your smart watch or car stereo system.

Audible for Android is a must-have for book lovers, commuters and road-trippers. That’s why I’m choosing it for aNewDomain’s featured app of the day.
