It’s free but time isn’t. So I checked out the app — it’s officially called Vote !!!! the App — to see if it is even worth the trouble. My review: mixed. It’s a fun free app at first — but it isn’t sticky enough to keep you in there making in-app purchases for virtual campaign booty.
Here’s my vote.
The characterization of the combatants is outstanding.
Obama’s oversized grin and big ears make for a dead-on caricature. The appmakers do a great job with Romney’s rectangular face and bushy quasi-unibrow, too. When one of the characters wins a round of fighting, he does a cute little victory dance. But then it’s getting you with in-app purchases …
If you keep at it long enough or you pay real money for perks, you’re able to choose costumes and weapons for each contestant. The costumes are as awesome as the characterization.
There is nothing like having your candidate whack his opponent with light saber While dressed in a superhero outfit. But is the game good enough to make you pay real money in in-app purchases ? It lost its luster for me pretty quickly.

I’d download it for free as entertainment — but that’s all it is. It’s a novelty app.
