Thanks again to reader +Lawrence Grodecki — he’s on a roll. He turned us onto the Typewriter Symphony Orchestra today, two days after he scored us last week’s pick for video of the week. That was the Looney Tunes Art Lesson, as if anyone could forget.

Today, from Manitoba-based artist Grodecki, we present for your enjoyment the Typewriter Symphony Orchestra. May it lighten your load on election day if you’re in the United States and stressing out over how your candidates and issues are faring. No matter where you are on the globe, this sure helps you remember what people used to have to deal with before Steve Wozniak combined a typewriter, a television screen and ROM from an HP calculator to conceive the Apple ] and ][ computers with partner Steve Jobs, the late Apple CEO, in 1974 and 1975.
Disclosure: Gina Smith, editorial director of aNewDomain.net, co-authored Steve Wozniak’s memoir, iWOZ: How I Invented the Personal Computer and Had Fun Doing It. (Norton, 2006). She does derive profit from the sales of those books.
Thanks again, Lawrence … if you’ve got a video, essay or photo to submit for publication to our site, email freelancesubmissions@anewdomain.net.
