Former president George H.W. Bush ordered the FBI to investigate late Apple cofounder and CEO, Steve Jobs, back in 1991. The FBI says the White House was considering Jobs as an appointee on the President’s Expert Council. Here’s the 191-page FBI folio on Steven Paul Jobs.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has made available its file on Steve Jobs, the late Apple co-founder and CEO. The 191-page Steve Jobs FBI file PDF document is available in full below. According to the FBI Records: The Vault site:

Steven Paul Jobs (1955-2011) was a founder and leader of Apple Inc. (formerly Apple Computer Inc). In 1991, Jobs was considered for an appointed position on the U.S. President’s Export Council. This release consists of the FBI’s 1991 background investigation of Jobs for that position and a 1985 investigation of a bomb threat against Apple.
