Solavei launches its $49.99 a month 4G service Sept. 21, 2012, ET. Its stated mission: Bring customers into the inexpensive unlimited data and voice no contract service and get them to make it go viral by paying them to share the service with friends. It’s a multi-level marketing system — Solavei reps vigorously deny that its cash for calls system is a classic pyramid scheme.
Using T-Mobile 4G, the system will work with compatible, unlocked GSM mobile phones — or such smartphones as Solavei-purchased HTC One S, HTC Wildfire or ZTE Origin.
