Written by Joy Ma

RUMGR is an iphone app you can use to sell used stuff to friends and family. RUMGR launched in February this year and is available for Apple iOS 4 and up. An Android version is on its way.

Got a pile of used stuff that need a new home? Rumgr is a free Apple iOS app you can use to sell stuff to friends and family locally. It uses geolocation to make the garage sale as you know it obsolete.

Rumgr, based in Las Vegas and funded by Zappos’ Tony Hsieh with 500K, boasts a team of ex-Zappos folk, said cofounder Dylan Bathurst at the SF Appshow 2012 in San Francisco tonight. It works on all versions of Apple iOS 4 and up, and an Android version is next up.

Free app is available in the iTunes store.
