NASA JPL Simulates Mars Landing with Incredible Detail

NASA and JPL release a tremendous animation of a planned landing on Mars. Too cool.

For some of us who remember when just showing more than 16 colors on a CGA monitor was a big deal, this sort of thing is incredible.

Below is an animation NASA and JPL created — incredibly movie-like — to show what the scientists intend with the Curiosity Rover. Thanks to my old friend Knowledge Adventure founder and VC Bill Gross for turning us on to this. Well worth the view!
