How to Visualize 10 Dimensions — Really (video)

If you’re a math geek — or a physics geek — you probably have heard that theorists now believe there are 10 dimensions — or 11, which is, of course, the dimension of time. But how do you visualize it? Check out this great video — it’ll turn your world upside down or — more precisely — inside out. Totally worth this short video to understand something so estoteric. It took a YouTube video and the brilliant folks at tenthdimension.com to explain in easy-to-understand animation, graphics and terms.

It took a great brain to take such a difficult concept and translate it into visuals non physicists and mathematicians will easily understand.

Scientific American had great things to say about this project last year.

Bulgarian subtitles by Tanja Djekova. Check out the tenthdimension site and blog for more on this. It’s illustrating the concepts in one of my favorite books, Rob Bryanton’s Imagining the Tenth Dimension.
