He’s getting better looking and funnier every day. How does he do it? Sheesh. April 5, 2012 is John C. Dvorak’s birthday and we wish him a great one.
John C. Dvorak is a founding executive and chief muse at aNewDomain.net with Gina Smith, Eric Mack, Joy Ma, David Street, Chris Miller, Jeremy Lesniak, Jonathan Hoffberg, Jerry Pournelle and the rest of us 50 plus geeks.

John C. Dvorak has been working in tech media since the 1980s. A pioneer! He met Gina early in her career and became her mentor, a situation in which she quickly snapped up projects he was ready to slough off. Two of those were the Sunday back page tech column in the San Francisco Chronicle/Examiner Sunday edition — Inside Silicon Valley — and On Computers with Leo Laporte and John Dvorak (and later, Gina Smith : ).
He and Gina were on the founding team at CNET in 1993 and helped start the very first rendition of ZDTV the following year. John has since has gone on to great fame and fortune — but despite all that wealth and attitude, we know that inside this once self-named “cranky geek” is a kind, incredibly bright and inventive writer who is aiming high with us here at aNewDomain.net.
We run his show — John C. Dvorak X3 with Andrew Eisner and Joe Engo — regularly. We’ll be adding a second show from him beginning today! HBD!
Happy Birthday, John. Many returns!
Happy birthday, John C. Dvorak!
(everyone else is too SCARED of you to say anything, LOL!)
