But I do love me the bunny : ) even though this bunny is a major enemy of four out of five dentists, as my dentist once quipped.

To me this is a secular activity — just fun — but of course it is linked to the Christian High Holiday of Easter. Did you know Easter coincides with the first full moon after the Spring Equinox? The so-called Pink Moon in your sky right now is actually the the analogue to the giant harvest moon after the Fall Equinox. Check out nasa.gov for more on this.

I wonder how its original planners linked a chocolate passing bunny to such a serious Christian holiday. Anyone know? Just like Christmas. Commercialization of these holidays disturbs a lot of folks. Are you one? I’d love to get to know our huge and growing international audience better.
