From OS Rumors to Release: The Development Cycle (comic)

Ever notice how people react to the development cycle of an operating system — whether it’s Windows, Linux or the latest Apple OS?

First there are the rumors, then the outpouring of thoughts around the beta and, finally, reaction to the release.  Nathan Wright and I illustrate the different reactions we see around those three platforms, below.
