Two funny things I took from from comedian Louis CK’s live stream of his Live at Beacon Theater event Saturday: First he took to Twitter to plead with viewers not to rip him off and torrent his video. And two, the comedian didn’t DRM protect it. Hmm.
Outtakes of the performance are available for $5 at his website today. I’m predicting someone will in fact torrent the video. We’ll see. Happy Sunday from aNewDomain.net!

He has a $200k profit after four days. He says that is less (so far) than he would have made had he done it as a commercial CD, but it would have cost the public $20 each, not $5. (Part of his expense was a learning experience — learning how to produce the video and its Web site. The next one will cost him less.)
This is a cool example of Internet going around the (fat) middle man.
