RIM wants you to know that BlackBerry App World is more profitable than the Android Market – and are there really 800 million people on Facebook? I try to separate the myth-busting from the spin in today’s roundup.

  • Nice. Same can be said for Google+’s “growing” user base. How many of these 90+ million users are actually “active”. And defining “active” really messes up the facts. Clicking the like button or the +1 once a month makes your active, huh?

So If I say “hola” three times a week, that means I’m and active Spanish speaker?

Stats on the web just kill me sometimes. :)
