On today’s show, John C. Dvorak and co-hosts Andrew Eisner and Joe Engo talk about Mercedes Benz and its decision to use Apple Siri voice control technology for its Drive Kit Plus.
Mercedes is the first automaker to integrate Apple Siri voice-recognition technology — it will let drivers of its new A-class cars make appointments, email and text, check the weather and traffic, and access their songs via voice control. Mercedes is showing the tech off at the Geneva Auto Show, which kicks off in Europe tomorrow, March 8, 2012. It runs 10 days.

Why not integrate SIRI with your current Mercedes? You can already do that with ViseeO’s MB-4 Bluetooth upgrade adaptor. It allows you to launch SIRI directly from your current Mercedes console keypads! There is already a video demo on youtube.
