Adding a New Apple ID: Here’s One Solution

aNewDomain readers send fixes for an issue regarding creating a second Apple ID. Here’s one fix that worked for me.

Thanks so much for all the email regarding the adding an additional ID issue Apple customers have been reporting this weekend. This tip came from a reader — it was short, sweet and it worked (for me). Thank you RF!

The reader wrote:

Make sure the date on the device is correct.
iPods and non-3G iPads can lose the setting.

Or try from a “full” browser on laptop/pc in the apple store.

Make sure to sign out of the apple store in settings.

Reboot / restart the device.

Guessing this is an Ajax / JavaScript error, nota real block or ID error.
