SXSW 2012 — now you have a cool new way to look at Star Trek, courtesy AddictiveTV. These folks brilliantly remixed and mashed up some of the best-known and cult-favorite video and audio clips from the original series and cast. In the mashup below, that’s a young Captain James T. Kirk at a status nowhere near the Admiral status he later obtained.
The audio/video mix is cool At their site, the creators write:
Classic Star Trek just had to be remixed! With such fantastic original sound design back in the 1960s by sound engineers Douglas Grindstaff, Jack Finlay and Joseph Sorokin, we’re surprised no one had done it before …
I first saw the Addictive TV folks at a SXSW show four years ago. Great work, guys.
Got a comment? I’m not a doctor and not an engineer, either, Jim. I’m the senior photojournalist here here at aNewDomain.net.
I don’t know much about Star Trek, as I’m a Star WARS fan, but this vid was pretty cool. :)

It’s also here on Addictive TV’s Facebook page, so you don’t have to download it… :o)
