If you think ScottEVest CEO Scott Jordan will soften his anti-Trump views just to move product, you don’t know Scott Jordan …

Scott Jordan anewdomainaNewDomain —  I hate getting idle threats from people on Facebook who claim that my Trump views will keep them from buying my products — especially when they probably had no intention of ever buying them anyway.

It’s true, I have strong opinions about Donald Trump and the threats he poses to America. And I do share them on my personal Facebook page.

But please spare me your opinions about my opinions, and don’t bring my company into it.

To give you an idea of the sorts of comments I’m having to deal with, check out this message someone sent me about my personal Facebook page this week:

My reply:

“I’m sorry to hear that. Frankly, I really don’t care .. and I really don’t appreciate the threats of not buying my merchandise because you don’t agree with my political opinions. You can keep your money and I will keep my honor. Goodbye.”

Look. I know there are plenty of people who say politics is bad for business, which is why you should keep your political opinions to yourself.
But the rise of Donald Trump is a danger to us all — and it’s so huge I can’t not mention it. If I piss off a couple of gullible Trump fools in my anti-Trump opinons, then so be it.
And anyway, a tacky Trump hat totally clashes with ScottEVest attire. Don’t even go there.

For aNewDomain, I’m Scott Jordan.
