Kentucky Bourbon Trail: Tipsy Typing At Stitzel-Weller Distillery

Kentucky Bourbon Trail: Stitzel-Weller Distillery
Written by Terry Gardner

We sent correspondent Terry Gardner to the Stitzel-Weller Distillery on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. She sent back this video. Viewer discretion advised.

terry-gardner-anewdomainaNewDomain — We sent correspondent Terry Gardner along with the entire United States Bartenders’ Guild for a first visit to the Stitzel-Weller Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky.
One of the newest stops on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, the Stitzel-Weller emphasizes responsible drinking.
But, as you can see from a slightly tipsy Terry’s video report, she discovered she is a lightweight Bourbon drinker.
So a couple of sips for Terry equals 10 to 20 sips for bartenders and veteran bourbon drinkers.
Viewer discretion is advised only if you fear tattoos or Bourbon.

Terry got so buzzed with just a few sips that after the bus dropped her back at the hotel, she claimed she was unable to type. But she has also occasionally claimed she is unable to type after a long flight. And once she claimed her cat ate her story, but her cat is too finicky to be caught licking an iPad.

Before she fell back in her rocker and started making Foghorn Leghorn noises, she told us she had a wonderful time. She was impressed with the amount of water and snacks available to make sure visitors don’t accidentally imbibe too much liquor.

  • Bulleit is one of my favorites! Visiting the distilleries along the Bourbon Trail is very fun and a great way to experience a piece of true Americana.
