Gmail Fun: Play the Classic Snake Game in Gmail

Email gets boring. So I play the classic version of Snake while I’m slogging through my mail. It’s a Gmail Labs feature that really breaks up the monotony during the day. The snake gets bigger and, while I’m playing it, not coincidentally so does my email box! sshot-6

Here’s a short video showing the game in action. Sure, it’s old school – but sometimes those are the most fun games, for me anyway.

Now when you’re looking through your mail, use the key combination to bring up the game. Use the arrow keys to control the snake. Then have your snake eat the green squares. Each time you do, you get points and the snake gets bigger. Like my email box!

Don’t run into any red squares, though.
