Ant Pruitt: Tic Tac Toe Glow (Freeware Friday)

Want to play Tic Tac Toe? Ant Pruitt looks at a spin off of the classic Tic Tac Toe

Who remembers sitting in school playing Tic Tac Toe with friends? The classic and simply fun game is still hot and there are tons of different apps available on iOS and Android. Our Todd Moore has released a much cooler version of the classic with his app Tic Tac Toe Glow for iOS and Android.

This is definitely not your father’s Tic Tac Toe. The game has standard 3×3 grid, but also has a 5×5 and 7×7 grid. Game play format is the first player to three games won, wins the match. The games are played differently depending on the grid selected.

Three straight symbols win the 3×3 grid, four straight for the 5×5 grid and five for the 7×7 grid. Sounds easy, right? No. See my screen capture below of a 7×7 grid game.

The game’s algorithm does a great job of challenging you in single player mode. I was pwnd quite a few times playing Tic Tac Toe Glow. The graphics, animation and voice effects of this game are great.  There’s even an option to share your bragging rights to Facebook and Twitter.

Todd Moore did a really good job with this.  Head on over to download your Tic Tac Toe Glow for  iOS or Android. This game is addictive, challenging and free.
