On the fiftieth anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s march on Washington — the date was August 28, 1963 — we’ve collected video for you. Here’s the I Have a Dream speech video, plus video footage of the Rev. King debating Malcolm X on the value of pacifist protesting for civil rights. Also, a Martin Luther King Jr. infographic. As this site continues to cover U.S. surveillance activities, it’s interesting to note that Chuch commission tried to end domestic spying of US citizens when it was uncovered that King and other 60s era revolutionaries were under the eye of the CIA.
